Phoenix was the first kid born in 2009, bright and early in the morning on Chinese New Year. Her registered name "White Dragon" refers to my daughter's favorite Kung Fu movie starring the lovely Cecilia Cheung, who, when she's not chasing Chicken Feathers, is named "Phoenix". The film is fun and engaging, just like our girl Phoenix here, who has never met anyone she didn't love.
